Solution Support Engineer


1. Senior solution support Engineer/Technical Lead (4-8 yrs)
2. Solution support engineer (2-5 yrs)

Location: Mumbai

Professional Qualification: BE/BS/Masters - IT/Computer Science/Computer Application/Electronics & Communication Engineering

This is a 24x7 Support Team setup which will be initially based out of Mumbai. But the candidate should be open for movement within India depending on the project requirement.

Required Qualities & Skills

Technical Skill:
- Expertise in Java, XML and Oracle on Unix/Linux/Sun Operating System, Knowledge on Web server : Apache, Tomcat.
Knowledge on software installation and configuration on Unix Platform.

Experience on Telcom industry/products, GSM, 3G, Smart Cards will be added advantage.

Qualities and Interpersonal Skills:
Able to manage the customer escalation & crisis. Customer Satisfaction Oriented.
Excellent Team Player and Autonomous.
Responsibility & Dimension of Position

* Initial single point of contact for technology & usage problems for all Gemalto products and applications.
* Candidate is expected to work in Telecommunication Technology - GSM, 3G, DSTK, Over the Air Protocol.
* Handle new and/or highly complex Technical problems and find solution or workaround.
* Qualify customer platform issues and resolve problems and find solution.
* Escalate the problems to Gemalto R&D or third party in case of very complex or bugs in Products.
* Deliver and install the solutions on customer production platform if needed.
.Development of tools to capture the data and to generate Telco Traffic Usage statistics.

Main Objective & Expected Achievements

Contribute to the Customer Satisfaction.
Contribute to the process improvement.
Contribute to the Development, Installation, Documentation and Maintenance of Product installed on customer place.
Contribute to company's compliance to different quality standards.
Should be able to provide 24x7 support to our customer on software solution issue.
