FOPEs (Field Operation & Panel Engineers)CHEMICAL / MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL / INSTRUMENTATION/ENVIRONMENT / METALLURGYReliance Industries Ltd, which has world class manufacturing facilities at Patalganga (near Mumbai), Hazira (near Surat), Jamnagar, alongwith acquired facilities of IPCL at Baroda, Gandhar (near Bharuch) and Nagothane (near Mumbai) announces the recruitment of young engineers for its new projects / expansions.Opportunities exist for Graduate / Post Graduate Engineers to be recruited under the FOPE (Field Operations & Panel Engineers) Training Scheme. Under this scheme, young engineers from all disciplines, work hands’-on in areas - from Field Operations to Engineering tasks - in the Field and Panel Rooms to start with and later in Engineering & Technical Services for total of 24 months.

TRAINEE EPC ENGINEERSCHEMICAL / MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL / INSTRUMENTATION / CIVIL / PRODUCTION / INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERINGREAL is a Reliance Group Company dedicated to Engineering, Procurement and Construction for all “Projects” in both Reliance Group Companies and other Industries, has emerged as one of the biggest of its kind already. It has successfully implemented Mega Projects like the largest Grass Root Refinery at Jamnagar, Oil & Gas installations, Petrochemical & Polyester Plants, Ports, large office complexes etc. and recently countrywide network of optical fibre.REAL has an Engineering Office for Refinery and other Petrochemical Plants at Jamnagar and a Corporate Engineering Centre at Mumbai for Petrochemical and other plants which would be coming up for Reliance Group companies. Current Projects in hand include the mega expansion at Jamnagar (estimated cost Rs.30,000 crores), National East West Gas Pipeline Project (estimated cost Rs.15,000 crores), Mega Real Estate Projects - Reliance Corporate Park at Navi Mumbai, a start-of-the-art Convention Centre and a world class Hospital in Mumbai (estimated cost Rs.1,000 crore).
Training will be for 24 months and will be at Jamnagar or Mumbai, employees may get opportunities at various locations across the country. In many cases it may coincide with the home states, but the same is not guaranteed.
BUSINESS ENGINEER TRAINEESCHEMICAL / MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL / INSTRUMENTATIONOpportunities exist for postings at Metro / Regional Sales & Marketing Offices & Technical Services Centres for Business Division of Refining & Petroleum Retailing, Petrochemicals (Polyester, Polymer & Intermediates) and Textiles.Candidates with a extrovert personality and excellent communication skills will be selected for training over a period of 24 months wherein in-depth on-the-job Training on Sales, Marketing & Customer Relation Management (CRM) will be imparted with close interface with Manufacturing Sites.
NETWORK ENGINEER TRAINEESElectronics & Telecommunication / Information Technology / Computer ScienceOpportunities exist for posting at Metro / Regional Offices & Technical Centre for IT / Computation / Communication / Retail Operation across India.Candidate with persuasion and excellent communication skill will be selected for training over a period of 24 months wherein in-depth on-the-job Training on Planning, Engineering, Operation & Maintenance and Software Programming will be imparted.Eligibility1) Year of Passing for Engineering Graduation - 2005 or 2006. Candidates completing their Graduation in 2007 may also apply2) Minimum 60% aggregate over all eight semesters. Aggregate percentage of six semesters in case of candidates completing Degree Engineering after Diploma. In case of candidates passing out in 2007 and expecting their Final Semester Results, their aggregate percentage upto Seventh Semester will be considered.3) Candidates are required to produce original mark sheets/ certificates for verification during Interviews.4) Pre-employment Medical Examination - successful clearing of medical examination, carried out by Company prescribed Medical Practitioners (will be informed to candidates clearing the Tests and Interviews)
Application & Selection Process** Candidates can give their preference for their choices between the Programmes - FOPE, Trainee EPC and Business Engineer Trainee.** Short listed candidates will be required to appear for written tests (aptitude and subject test) that will be conducted in 12 centers across the country (Delhi, Lucknow, Kolkata, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Baroda, Mumbai, Nagpur, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Cochin)** Candidates clearing the written tests will go through technical interviews at the above centers.** Based on a National Merit List, selected candidates will be sent Offer Letters. Decision for placement in either of the three Programmes will be based on the selection process and individual preferences.
Appointment & Compensation** Appointment will be at any of the Reliance / IPCL Manufacturing Sites & Offices.** Candidates will undergo a Two Year Training Programme, however on successful completion of the first year of Training, candidates will be absorbed in the ‘Manager’ Job Family with designation of ‘Manager’.** Compensation will match industry standards. We follow a ‘Cost to Company’ method of payment that offers flexibility to an employee to choose his compensation package based on his taxation and social needs.** Hostel Accommodation is available at all manufacturing locations at reasonable charges.
